Sterling Rose Gold  - AQHA Incentive Fund - (Heart) #4212788 2002 Dun Mare

Sire: Sterling King Gold Dam:Tipsy Tribute

This mare has had limited show experience. Like most all of the ones we raise, they are the last to be trained or shown. But with that being said, she still has a good record for the few shows she has attended. She picked up a half point (Open Reining) in 2006 at her very first AQHA show. Not shown again until this summer (2007) she earned 8 ½ points (Open Reining), Circuit Champion, and 2 All-around awards at 2 or 3 weekend shows. She’s only 1 point away from her Performance ROM. She’s an AQHA Incentive Fund mare and although not yet show in NRHA she does have her Competition License.
She’s a pretty loping mare and has a lot of ring presence. Deep stopper and rapid turn-a-round. This mare is cue conscious and needs an experienced rider. You can’t flop around on her, you have to sit still and let her do it.
Heart is nearing her ROM in reining. Circuit Champs this past weekend in Memphis!

Price : $12,500.00

Sterling Slippers - AQHA Incentive Fund - (Slippers) #4415283
2003 (Rose) Gray Mare

Sire: Sterling King Gold Dam:Cals Two Duce

This chunky little mare will fool you for sure. You’d think she’d be rough to ride but she has a little pity-pat trot and can nearly lope in place. She’s so wide it’s like sitting on the sofa. But she’s very athletic. Quick and agile when she needs to be. She has “COW” written all over her. Her Dam is a granddaughter of CAL BAR. Back in the “old days” we use to have too much fun team penning on her. “Slippers” has had about 6 months training in reining basics. She’s going to have a nice turn-around. Puts her head low and is very correct. She has a nice disposition and obviously is a very easy keeper. She will probably make a nice reiner but we think she would excel in working cow or team penning. If not sold we will be trying her on cattle this fall/winter. She is AQHA Incentive Fund.

STERLING BLUE FROST (Frosty) #4546209 2004 (Blue) Gray Mare

Sire: Sterling King Gold Dam: Precisely Spoken

This mare has limited training. A few months as a 2YO and we’ve put about two months on her just this summer. She’s coming along nicely but it’s difficult to determine which direction to take her. She has a natural “reining” stop. Really tucks her butt under and goes deep with both feet. Her turn-a-round, although slow yet, is nice and correct. On the other hand, she is a beautiful mover with height and stretch. We think she would do well in English. Actually, we have worked her over trail obstacles and played around with Showmanship a little. This mare would probably make someone a great All-Around contender. She is also AQHA Incentive Fund.

SON OF THE GHOST (Son) #4727051 2005 Gray Gelding

Sire: Sterling King Gold Dam: Manie Times Leo

This gorgeous gelding has 4-5 months basics training for reining. He’s also been worked to stand in Halter and a little Showmanship. He’s a bit lazy but talented. With a little more work he could make a super Youth or Amateur All-Around horse. OR….like his daddy, finish his reining training, show him in Halter then Reining and win them BOTH! He’s a hunk! He’s quiet, he’s an easy keeper and what an eye catcher. He is also AQHA Incentive Fund.

SPRINKLE ME STERLING (Baby) #4860795 2006 Chestnut Mare

Sire: Sterling King Gold Dam: Precisely Spoken

Halter! Halter! Halter! What a perfect blend of our stallion “Sterling King Gold” and the “Sierra Te” blood line. This little filly is without a doubt the sweetest, best disposition, best put together most gorgeous baby we have ever raised. You just want to hug her neck when you’re around her. She’s built like a Mac truck with a beautiful neck that ties in just right. Tiny little ears and big doe eyes. Her butt fills up the whole stall and she has a chest to match. And it’s ALL NATURAL. We’ve been working her to show in Halter and Lunge Line at some shows in October. She does well standing for Halter but is still playing too much on the lunge line. We left her mane long because with her build, attitude, athletic ability and disposition we just KNOW she’s going to be the next Reining star! Another Halter/Reiner in the family. “Baby” is also, AQHA Incentive Fund.
